After trouble with other Woocommerce PayPal plugins I switched our site to Payment Gateway for PayPal on WooCommerce plugin. Way better functionality than the previous plugin I was using. We did run into an issue with Apple Pay integration but after reaching out to the plugin author they got to work on implementing a fix. They had good communication. I highly recommend!

They took the time to understand the problem, provided a temporary fix very quickly, and released an official update shortly after. The Paypal Plugin works great on this version of Wordpress (6.7.2) but I just updated another site to 6.8 and the Woocommerce Paypal plugin is creating a critical error there. At least that’s how it appears at this time.
