Orufy Connect empowers your WordPress and WooCommerce site with:

 * A powerful chatbot widget, embeddable anywhere via shortcode.
 * Automated WhatsApp messaging for WooCommerce order events, using customizable
   templates.

These guides will help you configure your Orufy account, obtain necessary App IDs,
set up channels, and prepare templates for seamless integration with your WordPress
site.

#### External Services

This plugin connects to Orufy’s cloud services to enable chatbot and WhatsApp functionality.
Here’s what you need to know about external service usage:

**1. Orufy Chat Widget Service**

 * **Purpose:** Powers the interactive chatbot widget on your website
 * **Data Transmitted:**
    - User chat messages and interactions
    - Website visitor metadata (IP address, browser info, page URL)
    - Chat session data and timestamps
 * **When:** Data is sent when visitors interact with the chat widget
 * **Service Provider:** Orufy Technologies Inc.

**2. Orufy WhatsApp Integration Service**

#### Installation

### From your WordPress dashboard

 1. Visit `Plugins > Add New`.
 2. Search for `Orufy Connect`. Install and activate the plugin.

### From WordPress.org

 1. Download the Orufy Connect plugin.
 2. Unzip and upload the `orufy-connect` directory to your `/wp-content/plugins/` directory.
 3. Activate Orufy Connect from your Plugins page.

#### Usage

**Before Configuration:**

 1. Create an Orufy account at [https://orufy.com/register?redirect=CHAT_APP](https://orufy.com/register?redirect=CHAT_APP)
 2. Login to your Orufy dashboard at [https://orufy.com/login?redirect=CHAT_APP](https://orufy.com/login?redirect=CHAT_APP)

**To add the chatbot widget:**

 1. Go to `Orufy Connect` settings in the admin menu.
 2. Enter your Orufy App ID (see the Chatbot Widget Setup Guide above).
 3. Use the `[orufy_connect]` shortcode anywhere on your site.

**To enable WhatsApp order notifications:**

 1. Go to `Orufy Connect > Connect WhatsApp` in the admin menu.
 2. Enter your WhatsApp API Key and Secret (see the WhatsApp Template Integration Guide
    above).
 3. Select your WhatsApp channel and map WooCommerce order statuses to approved WhatsApp
    templates.
 4. Save your selections.
 5. Customers will now receive WhatsApp messages when their order status changes.
