In some cases, you may need to open links in a new tab. We can achieve this by using this plugin. You can open both external links and internal links in the new tab.
This plugin adds only a few lines of JavaScript code and it does not depend on any external library. It does not even require jQuery, which is the most common JavaScript library. Moreover, the code it produces is completely SEO optimized.

- Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/plugin-name directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
- All Settings can be found in Admin sidebar -> Settings -> Links In New Tab

Does it conflict with any other plugin?

The plugin may conflict with other plugins that forcefully change the links’ onClick attribute.

Does it work with WooCommerce?

This plugin is still not compatible with WooCommerce because WooCommerce replaces its external links from a tag to a form tag.
